How Candy Kittens used AI across creative, commercial, and operational work
Candy Kittens brought 16 people from across the business into one AI Essentials workshop, covering everyone from the founder and finance team to marketing, sales, operations, design, and support. The session turned AI from a vague trend into practical use cases spanning creative ideation, forecasting, EPOS analysis, document review, chatbot support, and better-informed business decisions.

The challenge
Candy Kittens wanted to move beyond general curiosity about AI and turn it into something useful across the business. The team already had ideas for where AI might help, but confidence and capability varied widely across roles, from leadership and finance to sales, operations, design, and support. They needed practical training that could make AI feel relevant to day-to-day work rather than abstract or overhyped.
What we did
We delivered a cross-functional AI Essentials workshop for 16 Candy Kittens team members, built around the real tasks people brought into the room. The session covered practical prompt techniques for ChatGPT, analytical decision support, creative ideation, and operational workflows, with examples adapted to the different needs of marketing, sales, finance, operations, design, and support roles.

Key AI use cases
What makes the Candy Kittens session strong is the breadth of work it covered in a single room. The founder and commercial leaders were interested in using ChatGPT to interpret analysis and help guide business decisions. Finance and operations roles brought use cases like reviewing contracts, summarising accounts, forecasting from sales and order patterns, consolidating production data, and speeding up invoicing and performance tracking.
At the same time, the marketing and creative side of the business wanted AI help with brainstorming, research, writing copy, proofing presentations, and turning rough ideas into stronger strategy. Sales and support roles explored customer chatbot support, sales email drafting, event planning, and diary management. That made the outcome more valuable than a narrow team-only session: AI stopped being a vague trend and became a set of practical workflows across the whole business.
The General Purpose team led a highly engaging workshop for our team and were very thorough in adapting to different needs across various roles. It was a great pace and an amazing course.
