From drafts to finished work

Most teams stop at using Copilot to summarise a meeting or tidy an email. The bigger step is handing it whole pieces of work: a finished document in Word, an analysed workbook in Excel, a deck in PowerPoint, or a research question answered properly by the Researcher agent.

This hands-on session is for confident daily users. We build it around your team’s own documents, models and recurring work, and we spend as much time on checking the output as on producing it, so people can hand over more and still trust what comes back.

What your team walks away knowing

Every session is built from scratch around your work, but every session builds the same foundations.

01

Finished work in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Letting Copilot work inside the document, workbook or deck to move from a prompt to finished work, steering it as it goes and checking what it changed.

02

Researcher on real questions

Putting the Researcher agent to work across your files, email and the web, and checking its sources before anything is used.

03

Analyst on your data

Using the Analyst agent to work through spreadsheets and exports step by step, with the reasoning shown so you can check it.

04

Notebooks that hold the context

Gathering the files, emails and meetings behind ongoing work in Copilot Notebooks, so every request starts from the right material.

05

Delegating whole tasks to Cowork

Handing Copilot Cowork a multi-step task across your files, email and calendar, and deciding which actions it should pause on for your approval.

06

Checking before you trust

Running the same check several times independently, comparing the answers and knowing that agreement is not proof.

07

Writing your own quality tests

Having Copilot interview you to write a test for good work, then using it to review a document or deck before it goes anywhere.

08

Agents for the team

Building agents with Agent Builder around recurring work, and knowing when a job needs Copilot Studio and IT involved.

The capstone

People finish by pointing what they have learned at their own work: a finished deck from a briefing pack, a research agent for a recurring question, or an agent the whole team can use.

Built in our workshops

These came out of our workshops. Each one hands a whole job to Copilot and builds in the checks that make the result safe to rely on.

Firm-wide AI attitudes survey analysis

Plans and then runs a structured analysis of an anonymised staff survey, segmenting by role, country and usage to find adoption barriers and practical leadership actions.

Operational news and supply chain risk monitor

A scheduled prompt that scans trade, business and regulatory sources and returns a table of events, their operational impact and suggested follow-up.

Board deck from a plan, in the company template

Turns a strategy plan and its supporting research into a board deck built on the company template and written in the author’s own voice, then critiques and revises it against the source files.

Drawn from our anonymised client use case library.

How we build it

Advanced sessions are shaped around one team’s work, so every exercise uses documents and tasks that look like theirs.

  1. 01

    Customisation Call

A call to understand your team, which Copilot features and agents your tenant allows, and the work people most want to hand over.

  2. 02

    Building Tailored Exercises

We build realistic invented files, such as management accounts with planted errors, so people practise on work that looks like theirs without sharing anything confidential.

  3. 03

    Workshop Delivery

A hands-on session that moves from finished work in Word, Excel and PowerPoint to the Researcher and Analyst agents and team agents.

  4. 04

    Review Call

A follow-up call to see which agents and ways of working made it into everyday use and what to build next.

What’s included

Delivered in person at your offices, or remotely.

Going further

Going further after the session

Once people are handing work to Copilot day to day, the next step is turning individual wins into shared ways of working.

  • A set of tested agents the whole team can rely on
  • Moving the agents that matter into Copilot Studio with IT
  • Clear rules on which data and connectors each agent can reach
  • Redesigning a whole workflow around Copilot rather than one step of it

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from our Copilot training?

Our Copilot training gets a whole team confident with Copilot across Microsoft 365. This session assumes that is done. It moves people on to finished work inside Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the Researcher and Analyst agents, Cowork and building agents with Agent Builder, so they can hand over whole pieces of work and still trust the result.

Do people need technical skills?

No coding is needed. People should be comfortable using Copilot every day. We send your Microsoft 365 admins a short checklist before the session so the right features and agents are switched on. Some features, such as Cowork, depend on your licences and admin settings, and we design around what you have.

Do we need to share confidential files?

No. We build realistic invented documents and workbooks that look like your team’s work, often with deliberate errors to catch, so nothing sensitive is needed.

Is the training in person or remote?

In person at your offices by default, with an instructor and a dedicated tutor in the room. We can run it remotely if that suits your team better.

Do you run Copilot training courses in London?

Yes. We are based in Covent Garden, London, and run most sessions in person at clients’ offices in London and across the UK. We also work with teams worldwide, from Paris and Berlin to New York and Singapore, and can run sessions remotely when that suits better.
