Who is Montagu?
Montagu is a mid-market private equity firm and a specialist in carve-outs and first-time buyouts, with €15bn of assets under management. It invests in healthcare, financial sector services, critical data, digital infrastructure and education, and has completed 38 carve-outs since 2002.

Montagu's deal team works through large volumes of complex material at speed: market maps, NDAs, financial due diligence, models, board packs and investment committee papers.
The firm wanted the whole team using ChatGPT confidently in that work, and it wanted its annual offsites to give people hands-on time with AI, not just talks about it.
